Module 2: Inspiring an Equitable Vision for All
This module will assist administrators to discuss, identify and prioritize supports for site-based instructional leadership for science through the unpacking of data from state-level research on science education and understanding the role of the science vision in supporting equity for science. Administrators will discuss common barriers faced by site leaders in supporting site implementation and improvement of science and how advocating for the removal of barriers help administrators move science forward in a sustainable way. (The barriers are based on amalgamations of real-life NGSS implementation challenges experienced by teachers and administrators in districts and schools.)
